Wampus is the warrior house, but it's named after a creature that is all about trickery and deception, making them kinda like Gryffindor and kinda like Slytherin ("Slytherdors," if you prefer). Well, no, because the founder's direct connection to Slytherin kinda makes it to where all the Houses of Ilvermorny kinda have Slytherin-y traits.
