But there are some lingering side effects that I am told will disappear at birth. The worst of this disease is behind me- I’m no longer on the meds and only vomit once in a while. Thank God my prenatal depression wasn’t as strong as my will to live (for Kennedy really) and my sweet Jesus reminding me I could do this. There was one time I seriously thought jumping off my balcony to relive my pain was a good idea. I suffer from #hyperemesisgravidarum There were times I asked God to take my life. I was in the ER twice for IV fluids (once is pictured here) to simply keep me going. It was difficult to walk even 15 feet and the nausea lasted from the time I woke up until the time I went to sleep. I was coming into the doctor because although I was given an anti-nausea medicine- it didn’t work and I was still throwing up 10-15 times a day and was coming back for Zofran. These pics were taken in October of 2018. The constant sickness sent her into a severe prenatal depression. During her first trimester, she suffered from Hyperemesis Gravidarum – a condition during pregnancy that causes extreme nausea and dizziness. Simon, who is already a mom to her 14-year-old daughter Kennedy, has been documenting some of the highs and lows of her pregnancy via Instagram. It was a magical day filled with love and sunshine. A couple of weeks ago, and I, with the help of my bestie gathered some of our family and friends and celebrated our little bundle of joy.
